Changing Default Save Locations
You have the ability to change the default save location on your machine. For example, if you wish to save to an external hard drive by default, you set Windows 10 to save to that location. The following explains how to do so:
1.
Click
the Start button.
2.
Click
Settings.
3.
In
Windows Settings, click System.
4.
The
System Settings window appears. Click Storage.
5.
You
will be taken to the Storage window. Here you can view your Hard
Drive storage space under the Storage section as well as change the
save location under the Save Locations section. Set your preferred save
locations under each Save Location drop-down.
6.
Click
Home to return to the Windows Settings screen.
Accessing the Control Panel
If you
prefer to utilize the Windows 7 style Control Panel, you have the
ability to do so. The following explains how to access the Control Panel:
1.
Click
the Start button.
2.
Type
Control Panel on your keyboard.
3.
Control Panel will
appear in the search results. Click Control Panel.
4.
The
Control Panel will appear.
